About Hannah Welch Sykes, Psy.D.
I am a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in evidence-based assessment and treatment for children, adolescents, and young adults. I provide cognitive-behavioral and parent-focused interventions for anxiety, depression, ADHD, disruptive behavior, trauma, and feeding and toileting challenges. I also have advanced training in Family Based Treatment (FBT) for eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa.
I am particularly passionate about early childhood development and wellbeing. I have specialized training in autism and developmental delay, with a clinical and research focus on improving access to high-quality diagnostic evaluations and early intervention services.
Dr. Hannah Sykes earned her B.A. from Stanford University and her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from the PGSP–Stanford Psy.D. Consortium. She completed her clinical internship at the NYU Child Study Center and Bellevue Hospital Center, where she trained across inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings. Following her internship, Dr. Sykes completed her postdoctoral fellowship in Pediatric Psychology at Weill Cornell Medicine, working across primary care and pediatric subspecialty clinics to expand integrated behavioral health services for children and families.
